ABOUT JIPSIJUNK
Jipsi Junk was founded in April 2016 by owner, operator and jewelry designer Brittney Bartell. She spent two years working in online fine jewelry sales and customer service before transitioning to a local bead store in Asheville, where she developed a love for making her own jewelry, while having access to some of the best supplies in the industry!
Jipsi Junk is established in Asheville, North Carolina and currently operates from Brittney's home studio. She offers a wide variety of "well traveled" jewelry and hopes to someday expand to include a clothing line, and other accessories.
Most of the items you will find here are handcrafted one of a kind pieces, but there are several unique finds that are sourced from suppliers all over the world. The name Jipsi Junk came from Brittney's love to travel, she wanted to capture the vibrancy of various cultures, with the pieces she carries in her collections. The idea is to offer unique boutique style items, that you don't have to leave home to find. Jipsi Junk sources beads, components, and finished jewelry from suppliers worldwide, and is continuously looking for rare and eccentric pieces to offer.
Jipsi Junk also offers custom jewelry for holidays, anniversaries, weddings, birthdays and any other event you can imagine. Her design style ranges from elegant to eclectic, so don't hesitate to ask if you have something in mind. Please also contact in advance for custom work, because it can take time to source all of the components needed to complete the perfect piece!
